Part of a small series of Solar derivative plotters, this piece is a beautiful example of Mallary's exploration of the latent space around his primary outputs. The vivid pink color was uncommon in plotter art at the time as most artists were still making use of institutional plotters and thus limited to black and primary colors, but it appears frequently in his work.
